I only know have had a chance to open the blog and learn how to respond. It has been overwhelming working and trying to complete the project. I only wish I had read the blog
earlier. What a great idea setting everything out on the lawn. I will never ever use a pergola
and random blue stone again. UGH.....
I mailed my project on Sept. 10th. Fed Ex. I wanted to make sure it got there in time. It cost
$48.00 ouch. But I don't trust snail mail. It sometimes takes 10 days for my Mom to get a letter
in Missouri from Florida.
Looking forward to seeing all of you in October. Please be kind to me when I show you my
drawing. :)

Jamie,
ReplyDeleteJust want you to know my project went several days later and cost a small fortune to send. I got into a work situation going two weeks straight (7days a week)! As you cam imagine I had a tough time focusing on getting anything done by the time I arrived home. I did make an appointment to see the eye doctor as even with my reading glasses I still could not see what I was doing!
I missed a few details (no patio furniture!?) in my proposal but will keep reminding myself that this is the learning process and if any of us got this one dead on then we wouldn't have anything to learn. Anyhow I'm sure you did a wonderful job.
I'm trying to pick up as many photographs as I can now before the color dissappears up here! I did figure out that the best day to photograph is not a sunny and cloudless one. I took a trip to a local nursery and most of my photos were washed our from the suns glare. Unfortunately it was the only day I had to attempt pictures. Now that the first assignment is done and my coworker is back I'll "give it another go" so to speak.
Hope you are well and feeling a little less stressed now that we have one project under our belts.
Looking forward to seeing you and everyone in a few weeks.
Be sure to keep posting any helpful hints! Remember we are all in this together!
See you soon.
